WhisperPower and SAILTEC enter into strategic partnership in the field of recreational and commercial shipping

WhisperPower GmbH Germany and SAILTEC GmbH will be working together in the future. Due to a restructuring within WhisperPower Germany, which will in future focus more on the automotive market, there were considerations in the area of sports and commercial shipping that led to holding talks with the owner Björn Rump from SAILTEC.

"We both immediately felt that we could generate a lot of synergies with a partnership and that a collaboration would make a lot of sense," says Cord Brandt from WhisperPower Germany. "Our employee Harald Klingler is also joining SAILTEC. We can get started immediately, without long handovers and familiarisation periods," Cord Brandt is pleased about this happy constellation. 

For WhisperPower's existing customers this means the same contact persons and no delays due to new structures.

"With WhisperPower, we are getting an excellent brand in our portfolio. We can once again demonstrate our philosophy of offering products with maritime expertise here," says Björn Rump, owner and managing director of SAILTEC. "In Harald Klingler we are gaining an expert colleague whom I have known for many years in the industry and who will also actively sell our existing brands in the field. What makes WhisperPower particularly attractive is that it offers complete solutions that are an excellent fit for our customers and yachts."

Björn Rump and Cord Brandt both believe in the future of electric drives, which will also find their way into the water sports sector. WhisperPower is future-oriented and is already working on new ideas as a brand. WhisperPower products will also be available for purchase in the SAILTEC online shop at the beginning of the year.
